Each username/password has their own home directory and is restricted to access only that home directory.

Exception - File Sharing
If you want to share files among multiple users, you can simply tell them to login with the same username/password. If you insist on multiple usernames with file sharing, another way to do it is to set multiple usernames to redirect to the same home directory upon login. Please note that the latter method permit to the user that is sharing to have both private and shared files at the same time.
